Prismax is a hydro-nutritive, intense treatment that will regenerate malnourished hair strands that have submitted to dulling, dyeing, straightening, highlighting, heat damage, or prolonged exposure to the elements. Over time, these damages leave hair vulnerable, alters its structure and texture, and weakens its keratin chains, rupturing the strands.

Prismax is recommended when the hair is:

• Dry or frizzy
• Broken, weak or with little resistance.
• High porosity.

• Opaque.

We recommend its use to:

• Repair and improve damaged hair.
• Prolong the effect of Keratin Treatments.
• After hair dye.
• After straightening treatments.
• After discoloration.

If you are using Prismax for preventative maintenance, use Prismax on an as-needed basis or after coloring, highlighting, or chemical processes such as Keratin Treatments and relaxers to protect hair from drying out. You can use Prismax immediately after professional coloring/highlighting procedures. If you use at-home hair dyes, please wait at least 48 hours before using Prismax because this treatment is heat-activated. Please wait 15 days after Keratin Treatments and relaxers before using Prismax.

If you are using Prismax to repair/hydrate damaged hair, use Prismax monthly for at least 5 months, then enjoy up to 10 months of softer, healthier hair. If you process your hair, continue to use Prismax for preventative maintenance. Results are noticeable after the first treatment. Each subsequent treatment produces longer-lasting and more profound results!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Wash hair with a deep-cleansing or clarifying shampoo. Do not use conditioner.

2. Remove excess moisture until hair is slightly damp.

3. Dilute the complete vial with 3.5oz of room-temperature water  (less than 104°F) and mix until creamy. 

4. Apply the mixture strand by strand from root to tip with a small brush. (For Fine Hair: Apply the mixture starting two-inches away from the root)

5. Once the entire mixture is applied, begin massaging the product into the hair, carefully stretching the hair to work the product into the hair. The more you massage the product in the hair, the better the results. Continue until the mixture is evenly applied with no clumps.

6. Place a protective plastic cap over the hair and use a hooded hair dryer, thermal heating cap, or bonnet hair dryer attachment for 20 minutes.

7. Lightly rinse 50-70% of the product from the hair with water, leaving in the remaining 30-50%. If you are using Prismax to repair damage, rinse out less. If using for preventative maintenance, rinse out more.

8. Dry and style your hair to your preference. We recommend using a blow-dryer and rounded brush to dry the hair then using a flat iron to help seal the product into the cuticles for longer-lasting effects. Set the flat iron to 350F degrees, and pass it through the hair 2-3 times. Warning: If using on fine hair or color treated hair lower the temperature to 300℉-325℉.

Remember: Do not use any hair care products that contain sulfates (shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, etc.) Sulfates strip moisture from the hair. Read the back of your shampoo and conditioner bottles to ensure sulfates are not in their ingredient list. (Behentrimonium Methosulfate is actually not a sulfate.)
